Spring in Hays
It’s April and officially Spring! It’s time to enjoy the Central Texas outdoors - before it gets too hot!
People are planting their gardens and excited to spend some time outside and connect with nature - and their community. There are so many things to do in Hays County during the beautiful Spring weather:
Go for a hike - there are so many hike/bike trails throughout Hays County. Check out Purgatory Creek Park in San Marcos and Mount Baldy in Wimberley.
Get in the water - Pop a squat in (or near if you’re me) all of Creeks in Wimberley, Rivers in San Marcos and New Braunfels
Get outside and socialize - it’s the perfect weather to grab a coffee, a bite to eat, or drink all over Hays County. We have so many restaurants with decks and patios, wineries and breweries, and coffee shops that are the perfect place for a cozy conversation while soaking up the sunshine. From Main St. Buda to Wimberley Square to the Square in San Marcos - all of the local dining and wining you can enjoy.
I hear pickleball is big and I plan on checking it out - in the meantime there are places in Hays County to get your pickleball on.
Get your hands dirty in the garden, get some vitamin D, set your circadian rhythms, feed the birds, admire the trees, go for a walk, and breathe in the fresh air.
